The force of friction was the fourth project we did in 9th grade Humanities. It was also the exhibition project. In the force of friction project we learned about immigrants primary immigrants trying to cross the US, Mexico border because it was so close to us. We wrote our own one-act plays about immigration and picked four to present for exhibition. We saw some one-acts plays, watched and read prior students plays, and even took a trip to the border. The project made we think of immigrants as people and not as things trying to cross the border. My one-act play is below.
