In this video I spoke about food and our favorite places to eat. The button below will take you to the video of us preforming our conversation.
Reflection:
When preparing for this video it took a lot more preparation. The first video used very basic Spanish skills that I mostly remembered from Spanish 1. In the first talk we spoke about very basic things, such as where we live, what our names are and if we have siblings. In this one we spoke about food and where we like to eat, witch was a totally different branch of Spanish than anything that I have every used before. In the end I my partner and I were able to remember our lines a little too good, because we were under one minute. We figured that we would stumble a little bit when we were up in front of the camera but we both did really good and sped through the conversation. I don't think we did anything wrong we both prepared very well, and had the perfect conversation length. Next time I think I will add one or two more lines to get my time up to what it is supposed to be. Food was a good topic, but I would like to learn about more advanced conversation starters like more advanced versions of ¿Dónde vives?. This conversation was very challenging in terms of remembering what to say, but it did help knowing what our conversation meant in English. My partner did a very good job remembering her lines, writing the conversation, and was just an all around great partner. For the conversation in the next two weeks, I do not have a preference who I work with because I can work with everyone in the class. In future jobs I won't get to choose who I work with so I will start that now. I am excited to get into some more challenging Spanish conversations and the end of the semester when I see how much I have improved by watching my videos.
