This is the third Spanish video that we did in 11th grade Spanish. A button to my video is below.
Reflection:
How often did this student reach out to practice with you outside of school?
My partner was Aliza. We decided to not practice outside of school together, but we practiced by ourselves at home and together at school. I think that this worked out very well, because we got to see each others progress and we did not have to deal with setting up to practice together when the time was already set up at school.
How much time did this student commit to practicing with you outside of school?
We did not commit time after school to practicing.
Do you feel this person pushed you to try your best? How?
Aliza did push me to try my best because she always helped my practice and remember my lines. She also pushed me to memorize the lines in English so if I forget them I can try and convert the lines to Spanish or just say them in English if I really can't remember. This was something that I hadn't done in the past two conversations.
Would you like to collaborate with this person again? Why or why not?
I would like to work with Aliza again because she was a good partner. She remembered her lines, helped me remember mine, and helped me remember my lines in the actual conversation when I couldn't remember.
Did you stick to your plan?
We stuck pretty closely to our plan. We both understand the translation of the conversation in English, we both memorized the script fairly well, though I did forget a portion while filming. The only thing we didn't follow that well was practicing out of school. We said in our plan that we were practice together outside of school. However we decided later that we would practice together at school and apart at home.
