In this intro to Spanish class we created Spanish conversations and then spoke those conversations in front of a camera. You can access my conversation video by clicking the link below. After we recorded our videos we answered a series of reflection questions that are also below.
Reflection Questions:
1: In Spanish class I feel that I am already good at basic conversation. I know the majority of the phrases that people would say when you are just meeting them and how to respond to them.
2: The most challenging part of learning Spanish for me is learning what all of the words mean. There is so many words in Spanish, because it is an all new language, and I do not know 99% of what anyone is saying beyond basic conversation. Figuring out what more words are in Spanish will be the hardest part for me.
3: I work at a location where there are a lot of Spanish speaking individuals, and I can never understand the majority of what they say, so I plan to try and talk to these people in Spanish to get me some real-world Spanish practice. Also my father can speak Spanish fairly well and I have already practiced with him several times.
4: Marino did a very good job all together. He made good eye contact, remembered all his lines, did not stutter, and was a very good partner throughout the whole process.
